Journeys of Life Counselling Services Inc., offers virtual services to clients residing in Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia

Telephone sessions should be conducted within a private space where there will be no interruptions or distractions for both client and provider. A space within one’s home is fine as long as there are no other individuals/pets in the room.

Regarding cellphones: ensure there is a strong signal, and the phone is charged; you may wish to consider using a headset. Use of a speakerphone is not recommended as sound may become distorted. Telephone sessions will not be conducted if a client is driving; it is not safe and the client will not be able to totally focus on the session.

Video sessions: I have partnered with JaneApp, a leading online platform. In order for you to access services at Journeys of Life Counselling Services Inc, you are required to register and create a profile on JaneApp. Once registered, I encourage you to run the internet test prior to attending our session. A link is included in each session invite. This will immediately determine if you have correctly enabled your device camera and audio as well as whether you have sufficient bandwidth to conduct the session.

At the appointment time, please log out of any open video conferencing platforms you may have been using i.e. Zoom, MS Meetings, Google Duo etc.

Once you have registered and completed the paperwork, request for an appointment online and I will send you an invoice for the payment of the fees prior to the appointment. Fee payment is required 24 hours prior to the appointment, or else the appointment will be cancelled.
