I have partnered with Jane, a leading online software providing a safe and secure online mental health experience. To access services at Journeys of Life Counselling Services Inc., you are required to register and create a profile in Jane. Once registered, you will receive email appointment reminders and an email link to each video session (1 hour before). You can schedule appointments and pay in advance for your session in Jane. If there is no availability online, please email [email protected] to request an appointment.
You will have the ability to test your video and audio before each appointment through the link provided or through your online Jane patient portal. You can find more guidance on how to use Jane via this link.
Jane works best on CHROME for computers, laptops, and Android. And for iPhone and iPad, we recommend SAFARI.

Please advise me if you are unable to make a scheduled appointment at least 24 hours in advance otherwise, a no-show fee of $180 will be charged to you.
Insurance Coverage The credentials required for therapy vary by insurance company and plan. Since there are so many plans Journeys of Life Counselling Services Inc. has no way of guaranteeing what will be covered. Please call your insurance plan to find out if you are covered for therapy with a Registered Clinicial Social Worker before attending your counselling session.
Unfortunately, at this time not all insurance companies accept direct billing from therapists.
Journeys of Life Counselling Services Inc. provides direct billing to Blue Cross – however, the responsibility is on the client to call customer services or speak to their administrator to ensure they have coverage for counselling services from a Registered Clinical Social Worker
Dayirai is a mental health therapist provider with Indian Residential School Resolution Health Support Program (IRS RHSP) and the Non-Insured Health Benefits Program (NIHB). All Survivors of Indian Residential Schools, regardless of Indigenous status or place of residence within Canada, are eligible to receive services from the IRS RHSP. Once approved, Dayirai will submit invoices directly to the NIHB and IRS RHSP.
Dayirai is an approved counsellor. Once a client has been approved for counselling through the victim services and chosen to work with Dayirai, she will submit invoices directly to the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, Victim Services in Regina.
